Help Us Bless Foster Kids and Group Homes Across Arizona
Because every child deserves to know they are seen, loved, and chosen by God.

Under the wide desert skies of Phoenix, many children in Arizona’s foster care and low-income systems begin each school year already at a disadvantage.

They don’t walk into class with the latest backpacks or rows of shiny pencils. Many don’t even have a backpack at all. Instead, they carry their belongings in black garbage bags—makeshift suitcases that hold the weight of constant transitions, instability, and everything they own.

Inside those bags? Maybe one tattered notebook. A handful of broken crayons. Pencils worn to the nub. When teachers hand out school supply lists—composition books, glue sticks, rulers, calculators—it’s not just a checklist. It’s a quiet reminder of everything these children are going without.

Across Arizona, faithful teachers stretch their own paychecks to meet the need. They give generously, often out of their own lack. But it’s still not enough. By mid-semester, supplies are used up, worn out, or gone.

For these kids, school isn’t just about learning—it’s about survival. When your life is packed into a garbage bag and you're unsure where you'll sleep next, how can you focus on spelling tests? On science projects? On dreaming for the future?

But here's the truth: God sees every one of them.
He knows their names. He knows their stories. And He has a purpose for their lives.

These kids don’t need pity—they need dignity. They need love. They need hope.
They need people who will step up in Jesus’ name to say:
“You are not forgotten. You are chosen. You are loved by a God who has good plans for you.”

Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ—showing these kids that the body of Christ is here and that God’s family cares.
